Cambridge Cove is a single-family residential development on the northwest corner of the City of Cambridge.  The first phase consists of 108 new single family home lots.  The development is underway with new street and sidewalk construction.  A total of 28 building permits have recently been issued.  

June 13, 2024 Update 

• The Cove has 15 Certificate of Occupancy's issued and some homes are already occupied.
• 2 homes will soon have the final inspections completed.
• Landscaping is in on all the finished houses.
• 6 homes are in various stages of framing: 2 will begin any day now; 4 recently have had sewer and water hooked up and footings will begin soon.
• 4 will be getting sewer and water hooked up within the week.

December 4, 2023 Update

• The excavators have stopped digging new foundations at this time.
• Framing crews have been working 7 days a week.
• 6 Houses are framed, shingled, most of the windows are installed, all of them have their plumbing roughed in, and most have been inspected.
• 4 houses have their mechanical systems roughed in.
• 7 are backfilled and ready to build.
• 3 have their foundations poured and are currently having the waterproofing and in ground insulation installed and should be backfilled this week.

November 13, 2023 Update 

28 permits have been issued so far. Here is the progress so far:

• 2 are being dug.
• 3 are at the footing stage.
• 1 has its poured walls completed.
• 9 foundations have poured walls and have their underground plumbing completed.
• 3 are being framed.

There are 3 framing crews. More trusses and framing materials are being dropped off so expect to see more structures up soon!

November 3, 2023 Update 

The Cove is progressing quickly as they push forward in anticipation of the coming winter weather. Roads, sidewalks, retaining walls, streetlights and signage are all in. Close to a dozen foundations are in, or in the works. A handful of the smaller slab-on-grade homes have had their underground plumbing installed. Framing will be starting soon.
