Cambridge puts on a movie series in our parks system each summer! Shows are held on Friday Nights at dusk in different parks. Grab the family, chairs/blankets and join us for FREE Popcorn and a show under the stars. Movies are family friendly. We'd love to hear what you think about the shows! The 2020 Movie Series:

Wonder - July 31, Brown Park

Wonder is based on a New York Times bestselling book. Wonder tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade.

Sing - Aug. 7, Central Green Park

Sing is an animated juke-box musical comedy which follows a group of animals that enter a signing competition, hosted by a koala trying to save his beloved theater.  To follow the movie's theme, there will be a karaoke contest starting at 7:30 pm. First place prize is $25.00.

A Dog's Journey - Aug. 14, Pioneer Park

Bailey is living the good life on the Michigan farm of his owner, He has a new playmate, Ethan's baby granddaughter, CJ. The problem is that CJ's mom, Gloria, decides to take CJ away. As Bailey's soul prepares to leave this life for a new one, he makes a promise to Ethan to find CJ and protect her at any cost. Thus begins Bailey's adventure through many lives filled with love, friendship, and devotion.

A Hotel for Dogs - Aug. 21, Cambridge's Dog Park & Community Garden Area

 When their new guardians forbid 16-year old Andi and her younger brother, Bruce to have a pet, Andi has to use her quick wit to help find a new home for their dog, Friday. The kids find an abandoned hotel and use Bruce's talents as a mechanical genius, to transform it into a magical dog-paradise for Friday--and eventually for all Friday's friends. When barking dogs make the neighbors suspicious, Andi and Bruce use every invention they have to avoid anyone discovering "who let the dogs in."

A House with a Clock in the Walls - Aug. 28, City Park

Ten-year-old Lewis needs to live with his oddball uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious `tick tock' noise. He soon learns his Uncle and his feisty neighbor, Mrs Zimmerman, are powerful magic practitioners. When Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, the town's sleepy facade springs to life, revealing a secret and dangerous world of witches, warlocks and deadly curses.
