Snowman/Snow-Sculpture Contest

Don’t like the cold? Alternative materials to snow are accepted!!! Get creative!

Categories: Best Business, Best Traditional, Most Creative, Overall Favorite

Snowman Contest Ad

Snowman Contest rules:

  • Entries are for Cambridge, MN city-limits residents and businesses only.
  • Entries must be received by 4pm on Friday, February 27, 2026.
  • Entries must include a photo, phone number, and address.
  • You may include a blurb about your snowman that may be printed on your picture for the Winter Fest voting per staff discretion.
  • Alternative materials to snow are accepted.
  • Accessories and food dyes/coloring may be used
  • Entries cannot be explicit or suggestive.
  • One entry per address and only one category may be awarded per address.
  • Entries for businesses will automatically be put into the ‘Best Business Snowman’ category. All other entries have a chance to win a ‘Most creative, Best Traditional, or Overall Favorite Snowman’ category.
  • The public is invited to vote for their favorite entries at Winter Fest from 12-3pm. Winners will be announced at 3:30pm.
  • If unable to be present during Winter Fest, winners will be called and informed that they won and can pick up their trophy and gift basket at Cambridge City Hall during business hours.
  • By submitting an entry, contestants grant Cambridge, MN permission and authority to use said pictures in any reasonable advertising or promotional activities.

Winter Fest

You are invited to the fourth annual Cambridge Winter Fest event held on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 from 12pm-4pm at Central Green Park located at 1450 East Rum River Dr SE.

  • FREE horse drawn carriage rides
  • FREE dog sled rides
  • Bring your own skates for the ice rinks
  • Some snow sleds will be provided for downhill sledding
  • Bonfires and s'mores provided while supplies last
  • Warming houses
  • DJ
  • Food trucks and craft vendors
  • bag-o-boards provided for gameplay
