Severe Weather Awareness Week Information
April 12-16 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota. Did you know that Minnesota averages 40 tornadoes per year? Does your family know what to do when the emergency warning sirens sound? If you own a businesses, do your employees know what do? Take time now to make a plan and then practice it on Thursday, April 15 when the emergency warning siren sounds. The emergency warning sirens will sound in the afternoon so businesses can hold severe weather drills and again in the evening so families can practice their plan.
