Deputy Fire Chief – Emergency Management Director
The City of Cambridge is accepting applications for Deputy Fire Chief-Emergency Management Director. This position manages city wide response to emergency incidents, provides administrative and technical work related to fire code administration, enforcement, education, and inspections. The position will also serve as a firefighter and coordinate equipment maintenance/testing and training.
Minimum qualifications include Firefighter I and II certification, First Responder certification, five years firefighting experience, and NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 certifications. Must achieve certification in NIMS 300 & 400, Incident Management, and Emergency Management within two years of date of hire. The successful candidate will be required to respond to emergency situations from home within 30 minutes or less upon notification. Salary range is $29.32 to $37.32 per hour.
